Welcome to the St. George Co-Op Nursery School!

For 40 years, families from the St. George and surrounding area have worked together to keep our school going strong. We create a unique and enriching preschool environment for our children (aged 27 months to 5 years) with benefits extending to our families and our community.

A Co-operative program provides an opportunity for parents to be directly involved in their child’s experience, helping them develop socially, academically, and emotionally; in the company of their peers, and under the tutelage of an E.C.E. qualified teacher. This is not a day-care or a babysitting service. Membership in the co-op requires participation, commitment and flexibility from all families enrolled. What your child and you take out of Co-op is a direct reflection of what we all put in.

Preschool Program Information St George's Co-operative Nursery is: For Children 27 months to 5 years Children do not have to be potty trained Open from September through to June Taught by 2 Early Childhood Educators Through this program your child will learn how to: Be able to dress themselves for outside for play Develop positive social interaction Child led programming Opening Days/Hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:30am - 2:30pm

Cost: Base Fee - as defined by the CCEYA - everything considered to be mandatory charge to a parent for providing child care, including everything a licensee is required to provide under the CCEYA Tuition $145.20   Non Base Fee - as defined by the CCEYA - fees charged for optional services - e.g. field trips, transportation - or any fees where a parent fails to meet agreement terms - e.g. fees for late pick up Optional Participation Opt Out Fee $40/month Missed Meeting Fine $50 Fail to Show for Participation Fine $20 Late Payment Fine $2/day Late Pick Up Fee Minimum $10 per 15 minutes
