We are the St. George Co-op Preschool, both a non-profit organization and a registered charity. St. George Co-op Preschool has been providing preschool education to the children of St. George and surrounding area since 1973.

There are a multitude of benefits that stem from co-operative education. A small teacher to student ratio (1:8) allows students to receive more individualized attention. As parents take part in quarterly meetings they gain hands-on knowledge of what and how their children are learning. During this time parents also have the opportunity to learn different ways to support their child’s learning and to encourage success for their child.

Participating in the co-op learning experience gives parents the opportunity to meet other parents, and children, at the same stage of learning. This can lead to fulfilling relationships for children and parents. Parents also have the opportunity to share parenting tips and share their concerns with other parents in a safe environment.
